We work with children, youth and adults who want to learn to play a musical instrument, form musical groups and demonstrate their talent. In addition, we do various workshops so that our participants progress integrally and develop using their free time profitably.

Our search is for music instructors and those who handle work issues with youth adolescents in the community.

VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTORS

Our participants and volunteer members, nationals, and foreigners, are the ones who promote all the activities that we carry out inside and outside the city. Since 2005 we have been working with local volunteers, but since 2007 we have received volunteers from Germany, France, Colombia, and other countries. What does the volunteer do?

The volunteer will be in charge of teaching classes to the students of the music school, individually, according to the requests. You should also get involved in the timely organization of artistic presentations with students and teachers.

How long do you have to be a volunteer for?

We would like you to accompany us for a long time, but if you are a foreigner, the volunteer decides if he wants to stay a year or at least two or three months.

What is the daily work schedule?

Clave de Sur works from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. but each volunteer can have free hours during the day, the schedule is built with the students, based on the influx and/or needs. Each student receives classes twice a week: Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.
