My volunteering in Clave de Sur was a real life changing experience. This community music projet based in Guayaquil, Ecuador, is completely ruled by the pupils themselves (15 to 30 years old approx), which shows a real interest and care of the whole community for this project. I worked as a music instructor for two months, giving free classes of guitare and piano for under-resourced people of all ages, and helping the new bands to play together and make concerts. Work was very stimulating. The accommodations are very good, in families of some pupils of the school, which is the best thing to get to know the local lifestyle and culture from the inside. I was very well received by everybody and made lots of ecuadorian friends. I highly recommend this place to make volunteering, you will learn so much about this incredible place and culture, and about your own self, I think you will not regret it.
